AUDIO DESCRIPTIONS

  • Audio descriptions play a vital role by providing recorded explanations of video content for the visually impaired. These descriptions go beyond the audio track to offer a comprehensive understanding of the content. Audio descriptions are available separately or integrated into your video. 

  • For integrated audio descriptions, pauses are inserted into the video so the audio description plays at the correct time during the video to describe the video to the hard of sight. 

Standard Process For Video Remediation

Send us your video file and we will review it and send you an estimate with a turnaround time (TAT). Once you approve this estimate, our talented 508 team will get started on making the video compliant. It will be important for us to know how you plan to post the video, so that we can ensure we send you the correct file types for your needs. One important component of accessible and compliant videos is the need for a compliant video player, specifically one that has keyboard shortcuts. 
 
Video remediation completion time is dependent on length of video. For videos that are 1-5 minutes, TAT will be about a 5 business days. For videos that are 5-10 minutes, TAT will be about 10 business days. For videos longer than ten minutes, TAT will be quoted on a per video basis.
